Biju Kumar Das, resident of village Amranga, Palasbari (Mirza) is one of the finest artist in Bronze Statue maker from Guwahati, Assam, Northeast. He did his graduation in Bachelor of Fine Arts ( B.F.A ) 1st Class in 1998-99 from Government College of Arts & Crafts Guwahati. And later Master in Fine Art ( M.F.A ) in 2003 from Faculty of Visual Art, Banaras Hindu University (U.P). He has got various award like "JUNIOR FELLOWSHIP 2000-02" from Department of Culture, Government of India.

He has also has expertise on Handicrafts sector i.e. Cane & Bamboo, Metal casting, Docora casting, Jute Crafts, Terracota, Handblock print, Embroching, Embrodary, Puppet making, Mask making, Paper Mache work, Mould making, Wood carving, Stone carving, Textile, Crafts
